Willie and I went out for the usual sushi dinner and drinks last night, just not at the usual place. We decided to switch it up and went to The Lab in Costa Mesa. We had drinks first at Habana, then sushi at Zipangu. I hadn't been there in years and honestly didn't even know if it was the same owner, but we were both pleasantly surprised. The service was fantastic and the sushi rolls we ordered were really good. I got one called the vampire roll that had crispy garlic bits sprinkled over the top. I was seriously in heaven. After dinner we headed to Buffalo Exchange to just be silly but we both ended up finding some awesome stuff. I left with a cute red t shirt and an amazing Betsy Johnson dress for 25 bucks. Psyched! It was a really nice date night. Something different. Can't wait for next week :)
